News from Cubs
16-20.8.2021
Dear parents, grandparents, and friends,
Many Greetings from the Cub class!
Another week is gone so here we are again with more news to tell. This was the last week of our last project of the school year- Olympic Games! This topic has been so much fun and active for all of us here at Villa Luna.
During this week we had our own Olympic games, the “Small Olympics” just for us. Each day we were practicing on one sport, starting with long jumping, and finishing with a big race together with our friends, the Bunnies. It was so much fun doing all these activities together, developing our gross motor skills and of course coordination. Now we are all big athletes, and therefore we all got a big golden medal in the end of our “Small Olympics” ceremony.
Moreover, we managed to finish the group project we started doing at the beginning, the Olympic Rings. The last green ring is on, and you can all take a look at our work in the cloak room. This project was great for strengthening our little fingers since we had to rip the paper and stick it on the big carton.
Throughout this project we learned so many new things about our body, how to keep it healthy, strong by being active. At the same time though we found out about the whole spirit of the Olympic Games which is helping each other and showing compassion to our friends.
This is all from us, wishing you an amazing week off! See you back soon 😊
