News from Cubs

Dear all,
Welcome to another week and adventure with the Cub Class! We are back as usual to notify you with all the things we did this week.
Let us start with some big news about our new friend Alex who joined us on Monday. We are incredibly happy to have him here at Villa Luna and our little class, so we can show him all the great things we are learning while playing and having fun at the same time! A big Welcome to Alex 😊
The week started with us focusing on the big changes of the weather, how to name each weather condition and be able to recognize it. Our “Stickman” book and his little adventures helped us to reach that goal, since he has been going through all the 4 seasons. To see what we learnt we ended up doing a fun experiment. We created our own rain cloud! Had such an amazing fun watching the rain going through the cloud and then falling. Since it is getting colder and colder, we decided to find out what clothes are suitable for this kind of weather. Our Teddy Bear friend helped us a lot, since he let us dress him up with warm winter clothes. Thanks to him we now know how to properly dress up during those freezing winter days.
Coming back from the weekend we found a surprise in our class! Some of the furniture had change place and more musical instruments are there now! We now have a piano and a guitar in, which gives us the great opportunity to sing along with them, have many music games and learn about rhythm. We are real musicians now!
The last day of the week was well spent of at the gym, with may many activities and jumping games. Such a fun spending our Friday mornings there! Moreover, we made our first Advent wreath. Holidays are just around the corner and we can’t wait for them! Already practising on our songs.
This week we also said Goodbye to our dear teacher Kaja. To make her happy we gave her a card and frame with pictures of us all so she can always remember us.
That is all for this week. We hope you are enjoying our pictures!
See you next week with more news to come!
