Dear parents and friends of the Cub Group,
Another week of fun, learning and growing is over, and we’re happy to share this week’s photos and experiences with you.
Our new topic, “Busy, busy bugs” started this week. It’s that time of year when all kinds of bugs and insects have woken up and are going about their busy lives, and we’ve been learning about some of them. For example, we’ve coloured bug pictures or spent some of our time outside looking for and examining any bugs we find.
We’ve also done a lot of climbing, swinging, driving, running, and spending time with our older friends, while in our garden. On our gym day we focused on balls and hoops. We practiced kicking, throwing and catching balls, thus building a foundation for future ball games. We also exercised with hoops, trying our best to spin or twirl them.
All the time we’re getting bigger and bigger! We’re getting better at eating on our own, some of us have graduated from sleeping in strollers to sleeping in beds, and some of us have even graduated from Cubs and have moved on, or will move on, to Bunnies! We will miss all our graduates, but we’re so pleased to watch them grow and develop, and thankfully, we still get to spend lots of time together.
We wish you a very nice weekend, and see you next week!
