News from Cubs
Week 18.5. - 22.5.2020
Dear parents,
As you will be able to see from this week’s photos, this was a very enjoyable week here in Cubs. We did a lot of our favourite activities and games, but we also spent time learning a lot of new things and gaining new skills.
We spent a loooooot of time outside! The weather has been so nice, it’s almost like summer has already arrived, and we definitely appreciate the chance to be in fresh air.
We brought some new things to the garden and therefore had the chance to try them out and learn something new – like jumping on the trampoline. It can be surprisingly difficult for us to learn to jump with both legs at the same time, but we are learning, and using the trampoline while holding a teacher’s hands sure helps. We also practiced using our stepping stones, driving cars (also forward :-)) and climbing ladders. And we of course did our favourite thing - making sandcastles!
Spending more time outside has given us the chance to spend more time with our slightly older friends, the Bunnies. We like spending time with them, because we learn a lot from them (like how to fish!), and we always enjoy taking part in whatever they get up to.
We’ve also been taking our morning circle very seriously – not only singing our songs, but also learning the names of all our friends and a little bit about counting.
Have a great weekend, and we look forward to meeting again next week!
