Dear parents, grandparents and friends,

We are back with more news to tell.

This week was about getting ready for our GREAT CARNIVAL PARTY, preparing decorations, singing songs and mostly having fun.

The best way to start a week is with a good song and the right melody to support the mood after the weekend and that is exactly what we did. We know already some of the colours of the magical rainbow and that is why we wanted to discover more and meet pink with yellow this time. Besides recognizing the colours we also practiced to see the differences between shapes. Now we know what the circle looks like and how many we can find even in our classroom. We had the chance to meet our new friend Clown who really loves balloons and colours just like we do and within a little experiment with one of those balloons we discovered “static electricity” and what a funny thing it does with our hair! We tried throwing and catching with this sneaky balloon as well. We figured it rather flies away.

During this week we did the balloon craft using not only one but multiple colours to paint our own balloon with a special brush made for our little hands. How beautiful it turned out to be as a decoration for our Carnival Party! Besides that we know there is a big tradition going on called ”Masopust” which brings us a lot of “koblihy” within delicious taste. Since it has been real winter outside with lots and lots of snow we didn’t forget to play there trying to make snow angels, snow balls, and feel the cold and taste of this beautiful white season!

And finally what we couldn’t wait for there was our Carnival Party. It was so much fun to see each other in different masks. We were enjoying those songs, dancing and playing in a ball pit which our friend Clown brought for us.
