News from Cubs

Dear parents,

Time flies when you have fun and we are already at the end of another week. That is why we would like to tell you at least a little bit about our adventure what we’ve done.

We started our week better than ever with the celebration of Herbi’s birthday! Now he is a big boy, and everyone was happy to see pictures of him as a tiny baby and how much he has grown. After the day of relaxing we jumped into exploring a new story therefore introducing a new project about “Stickman” alias “Větvík. We discovered adventures that “Stickman” went through and how nature is changing to give us 4 seasons and how important it is to help each other. Therefore, we are in amazing progress of learning a new song “Jaro, Léto, Podzim, Zima” going with a musical instruments in our little hands – bells, wooden sticks and a guitar. Everyone had a chance to be a big musician and try to play the guitar. Because we wanted to have our “Stickman” we decided to be crafty and work hard on our artistic qualities and fine motor skills using paint, sponge stickers etc. Nature is not a stranger to us and we also went to observe how it’s changing outside and explore to find the real “Stickmen” under the trees.

Although we know that winter is not here yet it is knocking on the door and we started to call it with a beautiful song “Snowflake, snowflake” hoping it brings us the real snow.

We also started to be aware of changes to identify day and night. When the sun comes out it is time to be awake and having so much fun and go back to bed when the sun goes down. We sealed it with a beautiful craft.

Just like every Friday we enjoyed our time in the gym throwing and catching balls, exercising our muscles and making them stronger by pulling ourselves on the bench.
