News from Cubs
Dear parents, grandparents, and friends,
Many greetings from the Cub class. We are here again to tell you all our news. It has been a busy week doing and learning many new things. Let us see what we were up to this time.
We started our week with a long walk collecting many things from nature so we could use them for our project this week. We picked up different colours of leaves, pinecones, acorns, and some branches from the ground. The last day of the week we used them to make an autumn scenery, gluing them on paper. Was fun to work this time with glue besides the colours. We discovered that your hands could get sticky and messy and we loved it!
This week we spent a lot of time working with Montessori activities. We are recently working a lot on our fine motor skills, how to effectively use the cutlery and of course to be more independent while dressing up/undressing and eating.
We have some more exciting news to tell. During this week we got a new magnetic board for our class! Now our book and everything we use during circle time is hanging on it. Gives us the opportunity to look on them throughout the day at any point. Looking at the animals we already learnt and spotting them in the classroom is a new game for us. Moreover, we keep on learning colours, red and yellow, trying to sort leaves and objects that are same colours. Those days we changed some of the toys in the classroom. Took out some old ones away and new toys and puzzles took their place on the shelves.
Next week is going to be a fun week for all! We are going to have our Halloween party, with many games and spooky crafts to come. We can’t wait to show our costumes to everyone!
That’s all from us. Hope you all will have an amazing healthy weekend!
See you next time 😊
