News from Cubs

Week 27.7. - 31.7.2020

Dear parents,

This week we wanted to share a bunch of photos with you, mostly from time spent outside, hoping you will enjoy seeing all the fun we’ve been having. The weather has been glorious, so on the hottest days we put on our water suits and got wet!!

As usual, we had a great time with our misty shower, but what we enjoyed most this week was our water table, which offers a number of (all very refreshing) activities. We could spend all day there, pouring, scooping and splashing :-)

We also turned into a “barefoot tribe” on these days, loving the feel of the soft grass and sand between our toes, within the safety of our garden. Some days, with the water and the sand, it felt like being at the beach :-)

The Villa Luna classes cooperated this week in building a big teepee in our garden. We helped too, especially with the decorating. Now we can see how Indians lived!

We’re also sharing a number of pictures from one of our morning circles. This still remains one of our favourite activities, during which we learn a bit about our topic, learn songs and rhymes, and dance our favourite dances. We all love taking part!
