News from Bunnies

Dear parents, grandparents, and friends, greetings from the Bunnies Group!

This week at Villa Luna we continued our unit titled “Čiperka the squirrel and friends.” We learned about different fruits and vegetables, learned some spooky Halloween songs, and continued making our kite unit project. Let’s see what we did!

We began the week by learning about different fruits and vegetables. Our Bunnies are so smart they were even able to sort them. Then we did some fruit and vegetable basket art. Everyone had to use their fine motor skills to crumple up pieces of paper and use their logic skills to correctly put the right colour on each fruit or vegetable.

Our little Bunnies can’t wait for the Halloween party next week! To prepare for it we learned some spooky songs. We also made some beautiful black cat silhouettes we can use to decorate our classroom!

Last weekend everyone took home their Bunnies portfolios for the first time. This week we took a look at all the beautiful work we did at home!

Our Kite unit project is almost complete. This week we added a spine and a tail to it so it would be able to fly high in the sky!

Next week is a short week but still full of fun. Don’t forget to bring a costume on Tuesday!
