Celebrating Earth Day!

Week 17.4 - 21.4 in Lions.

On Monday we went on a class expedition to explore the nature, the Lions enjoyed the weather, worked together to build a fence for the forrest tee-pee. In the afternoon we started preparing and bakíng our Earth day cookies, which was so fun!

On Tuesday we went to the big gym, where we enjoyed many fun games which included skipping and running. We also completed a sorting and matching game together while following verbal instructions.

On Wednesday we completed our baking for the Earth day, it was great fun to combine the two colours of dough to create to mini planet Earth cookies. We got to plaz Tik tak toe together in pairs. Later on we had great fun with Earth day bingo, where we got to practice our spring and earth day vocabulary. We also got to play the freeze dancing game, as well as the floor is lava dancing game, which was great fun.

On Thursday we celebrated our Earth day together with our parents and teachers. We got the oppotunity to use all our sences, language, thinking and problem solving skills at each of the amazing stations that each class prepared. Thank you to our dear parents for joining us to celebrate all our hard work and celebrate everything we have been learning about on Earth day!
