Dear parents, grand parents and friends,
Greetings from all of us!
This week at Villa Luna we continued our unit “Little Leonardo”. We learned how we can protect our body during winter, how the different type of food can affect our body and became little painters. Let’s see what we did in details!
The week started in the best way ever, a birthday Party! Our dear friend Bastian turned two years old this week and we had such a blast, singing and talking how he was as a baby. Happy Birthday Basti 😊
Since winter is here, making the temperature drop more and more every day, we had to remember how we properly dress up! Our cartoon body helped us and let us dress him up with proper clothes. And since we are talking about the body and the protection of it, we also practised how to properly wash away all the germs from our hands. To deepen our knowledge to it, we made a fun experiment with water glitters and soap.
In this topic little Leonardo is teaching us about healthy/unhealthy food as well! So, we started sorting different kind of foods that are good and not that good for our health. We found out that we adore fruits, especially apples, bananas and mandarins.
This week our little Cubs had to use their fine motor skills to find hidden footprints of some animals. All the kids had to use their brushes to find footprints under the snow. In the end everyone put their hands in and felt the texture of the “snow”
As every week we couldn’t miss the fun at the gym! Recently we are practising on rolling our body, dancing according to a rhythm and throwing/catching a ball.
That’s all from this week. Next week we will continue our little Leonardo topic.
