News from Cubs
Dear all,
Welcome back for another week with your little Cub friends! This week has been so busy here at Villa Luna and in our class. Let us see what we have been up to.
First of all, we would like to welcome a new friend in our group. Our company is getting bigger and bigger and we couldn’t be happier about it 😊
We started our week spending lots of time outside, in our garden playing in the sandbox and enjoying the sun. Also went for a walk, where we stopped on a football field, played with the ball and run aaall around. In the classroom, Rainbow fish is still with us teaching us more interesting things such as, being able to tell what “Big” is and what “Small” and to sort same kind of fish. By Friday we managed to finish our weekly project. For this week we made our own aquarium using many shells that we painted and our hand printed fish. It looks amazing and now it is decorating our wall in the classroom!
Moreover, we have been working with some Montessori activities as well. We are trying to do dry pouring and spooning with natural ingredients, such as beans and acorns. This way we are practising on our fine motor skills. And of course, we could not forget our gross motor skills and all the activities that we love to do at the gym. Lately we have been enjoying building big towers and watching them falling apart!
On this last day, we made a mini band at the gym playing and singing at the keyboard. Was more than fun!
Rainbow Fish will be with us for one more week, teaching and exploring more things.
Until then, we all hope you will have a happy weekend!
